The Edge Partnership has recently undergone an evaluation of their environmental credentials. The result of this audit enabled Edge to make a number of significant improvements to both their business practice and the consumables they use.
Recycling was hot on the agenda and the internal team have managed to reduce their paper based system within the office by implementing an electronic based filing system and reporting structure. All waste paper & cardboard is now recycled and weekly audits of the amount are reviewed and highlighted to the team to show the change in philosophy.
Environmentally friendly products have also been introduced. Amongst the change is a policy that all printers use refillable toners & ink cartridges that are recycled. The benefit of this procedure is two fold, Edge is not only supporting the Green campaign, but also local businesses that provide these services.
