With summer ending and autumn starting to creep in, we noticed that staff morale was starting to dip. So, for a 3-month trial, Edge has launched a staff incentive scheme to help motivate and encourage the team.
We consulted all staff members on what they would like to see during this time and activities include:
- Nights out and after work drinks for team bonding.
- Dress down day on a Friday.
- Opportunities to leave early if targets are achieved and exceeded.
- A weekly quiz with a prize for the winner.
- A bottle of champagne for Telemarketer of the month.
Each month there will be new activities that are suggested by the team and if it turns out to be a success then it could become a permanent fixture.
Mandie Pearson, Training and Development Manager said “So far the team have been really receptive and we have seen an increase in performance already this month. Because the team have been able to decide their own incentives, it has made a big difference to the campaign results”.
